Not practical light weight
0 of 1 found this helpful Spend more than 30 mins trying to get a boil, kept feeding small pieces of wood into this contraption, I own the or all size solo stove and it is flawless in the size as compared to this. Problem with this model is the pieces have to be really small to fit inside. I was in an area where the snow was covering the ground and I uses tree branches, dried end pieces that were small and easily to snap. It burned well but I had to feed it andi T never got hot enough to bring my water to boil, so I ended up drinking luke warm chocolate. I got home and then I used my hobo stove (spirit burner) with one oz of denatured alcohol as fuel, it fill well enough inside this model. Still I think the normal size o e fits my stove much better, I'll be giving this away to my son to play with. Will not use this in the future. Love my regular solo stove much more..😎
