Repair Manual Haynes 36058 fits 80-96 Ford F-250
    08 June 2017
Great guide for all maint. & major repairs, but almost too much data (too many models/years)
This guide has a lot of good information about maintinence, fluid capacity, fluid types, torque specs, etc. that will save you time digging around on the internet looking for them. The standard Haynes guide problems of lightweight paper and pictures that are sometimes of poor quality or not well labeled are to be expected. This guide does cover a large number of model years and different motors, transmissions, drive trains, body styles, etc. This would be a plus if you were looking to do a motor swap/upgrade, or 4x2 to 4x4 conversion since you would have both models in the same book... but if you are skilled enough to do that, your face probably is not buried in a Haynes guide anyways, and for the rest of us with one vehicle, it makes for a lot of extra information that is not useful. For example, I have a 1983 Ford F-250 with standard cab, long bed, 4x2, inline six, and C6 auto. I went through and crossed out entire pages with a large X in pencil that contained information on the V8, V6, Bronco interior, manual transmission, 4x4 specs, wiring diagrams, etc. so I wouldn't accidentally pull data for the wrong model while working on my truck. There is so much information on so many models, it made it hard to identify my specific vehicles data in each section. The data is also lacking in some of the medium duty repairs. For example, replacing certain dash components like the gear shift indicator is not covered in the dash, transmission, or steering wheel section. It location is noted but its specific installation and replacement procedure is not. They also include a mix of 4x2 and 4x4 diagrams for trying to replace the parking brake. Not hard to figure out once you're working on it, but for a true novice or first timer, the overlapping data would be confusing. Overall, a great resource. Combine this with an LMC Truck catalog, and your local auto parts store, and you will be able to do 99% of the work yourself without too many special tools. Haynes makes and older "shop manual" for more specific years of the truck I own. The cover is red, and it's got more detailed information. Pairing this guide and the shop manual gave me everything I needed.

    Compact CATV power injector
Great power adapter in a small footprint. Only complaint is that then tab that lets you screw it to the wall with the screw that holds the outlet faceplate on only works if the adapter is installed right side up. Works great, LED isn’t super bright, and not running hot. Installed in my garage, out of the way with a dedicated return line back to the cable splitter box outside.
