Great Antenna as adv'd
Nice high-gain UHF ant. As a lic'd ham, I can vouche for the quality, better than my typical build. Picks up signals from about 60 miles, as adv'd. A broad wide pattern, for a high-gain ant. so it doesn't need a lot of rotation from my location, picks up about 15 stations that are all from S to SE from here. A yagi or log-periodic would have a much narrower pattern horizontally, and then I'd have to rotate it all the time. Since I record a # of stations, no need to rotate at all. --- G

LG VX3200 flip cell phone
Love that it's simple, kind of like myself. No camera, as I'm a photographer and need better pict's than little cell's offer. Besides, often I'm in places that forbid any cameras. Others have to check their phone, I get to keep mine with me.
A big plus...very rugged...this gets dropped repeatedly, off high places. Just bounces a bit and keeps working. Another big plus is having an external antenna. I think most cell users have forgotten that cell network is 2-way radio waves, not some "Star-Trek" tech...it's just Radio Frequency (RF) transmission, modulated digitally. Same rules of physics apply as to all others, like TV, FM, 2-way police & fire.
Radio waves are sent out, and received, best with some sort of antenna, but a lot of the "cool" phones poop out at edges of reception areas. Having an external antenna helps, as I travel a lot of places with marginal reception. Often I'm the only one making calls. Then, the gales of laughter at my uncool phone, and self, turn to envy...well, at least regards the phone. It often sounds as good as a corded landline, and picks up little or no car/wind noise. Some peoples I know now have no landline, and then you have to use your imagination to fill in the blanks between dropped syllables and words.
Another plus re: ext. ant.-- I bought ($5) a repl. telescoping antenna..when extended, adds one to two bars above stock...which will usually be already one or two bars above a modern, cool, sleek phone that has its antenna buried inside the plastic case.
The VX3200 also has a jack for using a magnetic roof antenna - huge difference in marginal areas...cars are a near perfect shield for RF energy...my outside antenna makes me connect in the boonies as well as in town. No more dead areas.

Great bulb
great repl. halogen, white light bulb. Wouldn't use anything else. Always, be sure, to clean new bulb with alcohol for long life. Leaving any grit, finger oil, etc. causies a hot-spot on the glass bulb that will then attract tungsten off of the filament, and as filament prematurely thins out, it will separate too soon.
