Escher
This is an excellent book about M. C. Escher's work. It has more examples of the extraordinary designs he devised. Many artists study tessellations (shapes that fill up a space entirely without any gaps or background showing). Mr. Escher devised many of these using mathematical equations, and made thousands of sketches, as well as complete works of art. The book is fantastic. Doris Schattschneider researched thoroughly and presented Escher's thoughts as well as his works. I knew this was an awesome book, as I had seen it at a bookstore, so snapped it up when I found it at eBay. Gerry Woodhouse
