Awesome Family Gift

Odd one out.
I read reviews of this before buying it and was excited to use it for my then 4/5 month old son. Yes, it's colorful, plays relaxing music and sounds, has a remote. But none of that mattered and took us about a week to realize it was bugging the crap out of our baby (and not just us). First, it's way to bright. Even though it slowly dims it's over stimulating. For us the parents and our son. The movement and bubbles look amazing, but again, it was way too much to use to settle into bed. My oldest daughter is 13, when she was born I had the Ocean Wonders fish aquarium one and we both LOVED it. It was in her crib until the next baby came along. I can see why people love it, but maybe it's because there's really nothing else out to compare it to? As soon as I took it out of my son's room, put the fan and his star projection light on he was fine. Depends on what works for your baby.
