Reliable and accurate but small numbers on the dial make it hard to read.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a reliable scale which, unlike all the electronic scales I have used, gives the same weight each time I step on it. I could step on my old electronic scales five times and and get five different readings. This appears to be a common problem with them. Reviews suggests paying more for an electronic scale will not guarantee repeatability. This is why I chose a mechanical scale and I am pleased with this one.
The only quibble is that the numbers on the dial are rather small and hard to read. I use my iPhone to take a photo and zoom in on the image. I would suggest the makers get a plastic cover with a built in magnifier like old watches used to have.
Also I imagine people with big feet might find it a bit small.
