Good replacement
Item arrived after 3 weeks transit, despite quick transfer overseas.
Fit easily into pendant light socket GY6.35, for retrofit of halogen lamp.
Color is nice warm white, compared with previous bulb. Not quite as bright as I was hoping.

Good value bass preamp
Haven't tested this unit yet, but it appears to be assembled correctly, and the solder connections look good. I have used the same type model in an earlier application - a modified jazz bass, so I'm confident it should work. On the former application, I changed the blend pot from 500K to 250K ohms, and replaced the jack, drilling a hole and moving from the control plate it to the edge of the instrument, to accommodate the additional pot.
The preamp module width just fit in the controls cutout on the JB.
You'll need to provide your own battery box (9V) in order to make it complete.
Overall, a good solution for converting from an passive bass.
