it was just what I expected. This AHM car now has an Atherans 50" car floor, frame, weight and trucks with metal wheel and Kadee couplers.

Athearn Handrails
These Athearn Handrails are way to fragile. I have Operational Sessions on my home layout with many different operators and if someone has to handle an Atheran Locomotive there is a good chance these plastic handrails will break. I own over a 150 Athearn and Atlas locomotives and I always have locomotives in need of replacement handrails.
I also have the same problem with plastic handrails from other manufactures. All manufactures need to beef up the thickness of these plastic handrails or go back to metal ones.
