Fascinating! Captivating! Enchanting! GIVE ME MORE! GIVE ME MORE!
As someone who became introducecd to the Beales thanks to a premium-channel movie offering, this DVD fostered a deeper appreciation for the actresses who played Edith and Edie!
The insight this DVD provides helps me better understand what a life of solitude and seclusion can bring about. Try as I might to dislike Edith, I can appreciate her staying true to her convictions. It also makes me feel even more empathy for Edie. She wanted more. She wanted to give more. She wanted to take more. She, though, was a dutiful daughter and stayed with her mother through the good and the bad.
I suggest pairing this DVD with the original "Grey Gardens" and throw in the HBO movie. I've done more research on the Beales thanks to what I've seen and am even more enchanted to learn more and more and more.

COOKIES! COOKIES! I LOVE COOKIES!
I bought this as a gift BUT couldn't help but thumb through and I immediately wanted to go into the kitchen, make a carafe of coffee and start baking! SO many delicious recipes that I know will be amazing! The images are crisp and clear! The making and baking directions are easy to read! At this point, I think such a cookbook would be a welcome addition to anyone's cookbook collection!

Worth Adding To Your Collection
I bought this as a gift for a big Carpenters fan. He was under the impression this would have performances from multiples concerts and at different venues. It appears to have been from one show and was in black and white.
The performances are wonderful and the talent is front and center. If you're a Carpenter's fan, it's worth adding to your collection.
