Poor mounting system
The mounting system does not work well. The light unit has some weight to it and the leverage from the long mounting arm causes it to move where it clamps on to the bar. If tightened enough to stop it moving the point where the bolt head if held captive is plastic and is not strong enough and the botl head just turns. I have now made it work by discarding most of the mount and using the clamp/mount for a handlebar mirror (sold under the name RYDE) together with the original fitting that fixes with the two screws directly to the lamp unit. This still allows the light to be moved to get the beam orientated correctly.

The brush head broke off when it fell on the floor before I had used it.
As I opened the package the brush fell out and and the head broke off as it landed on the vinyl tiled floor.

Could last longer.
This is the third Shimano XT derailleur that I have had in three years and it appears to be just as good as others that I have had in the past but none of them seem to last as long as I would like. They do have a hard life.
