Sansa E250 still going strong
Let's suppose you wanted to change your favorite tune playlist - but could do the transfers only if you were at the one computer authorized for your MP3 player? The Sansa E250 makes it possible to transfer songs from virtually any current Windows-based PC. (Videos are viewable, but not totally satisfying due to the small screen and the conversion process required.) Keeping the Sansa updated via a download from SanDisk's web site was easy. A nice product that provides a good and affordable solution for making songs mobile.

Chipmunks beware
This is an easy-to-use terminator for rodents of the chipmunk size. After years of repairing sunken concrete pads, enlarged holes in foundations and chewed porch screens, I decided to take action. Other products, such as the gas-based so-called "giant-killers" didn't work. They just polluted the atmosphere without preventing rodents. Similarly, live traps required baiting and additional handling. Take these dears to a park or other location and you end up improving the chipmunk genetic pool. Chipmunks in the woods can stay there. But, when they intrude and target the house foundation, it's war. I use these in pairs about 2-3 inches apart, with the open jaws facing the wall. No bait is used. The secret is to locate the traps along the chipmunk run along the house.

Convenient way to expand home phones
I think it was when the DECT 6.0 phone standard was stablished that home phones with extensions could finally reach their potential. This particular handset is easy to add to the Uniden D1384 system. I just placed it in the base station's cradle, and a few minutes later it was made extension number 5. Date set- done, Caller ID-done, Unheard messages-done. All without having to type in anything. Nice. I can still add 5 more extensions (max 10) to this system for just the cost of another handset and charging base..
