Good for a newbie to dehydrating
I am new to dehydrating but a long time backpacker so this book was square one for me. The recipes I've tried have been tasty for the most part. Now I will use them as a guide and adapt my own versions. It may be that I have a fairly inexpensive dehydrator but the drying times are greatly underestimated. Over all, I give it an 85.

Long lasting warmth
Lives up to it’s claim of hours of warmth. It provided me 10+ hours on the low setting before I turned it off. I’m sure the 13.5 hour claim is certainly obtainable. While not particularly fast to recharge, I would recommend this to anyone.

Magellan Triton 400....A solid B
This particular GPS came preloaded with topographical maps (topos) of the entire US. I would not have bought it otherwise. Not all sellers provide that. It was ready to use right out of the box. This is my first handheld GPS and the menus are not as "intuitive" as the maker would have you think. But with an online manual, I got through all of the initial confusion. It is working out great as an aid to bicycling around new towns...handlebar mount was extra. In the boonies, it is pretty cool too, but that is mostly due to the detailed topos. On the down side, this device does eat up batteries...I don't leave home without an extra set of fresh AAs. For in-vehicle use, you will need a 12v/USB adapter. Overall, I grade this Magellan Triton 400 a solid B.
