Capacitor Discharge Pen Switch Power Supply Repair Discharge Protection Tool wit

robust, well designed and well priced.
If you are doing repairs on a photography flashgun, this tool is a must. The red LED shows you exactly what is going on. Very good piece of kit.

Long term reliability.
These batteries have a very long shelf life, so they can stay in the camera bag and save me from worrying.
StarTech USB3.0 Internal Multi-Card Reader - Black Metallic

Easy to install, and behaves well. Pity it doesn't do XQD cards as well.
I had previously had a USB 2.0 card reader in my PC; and it was somewhat slow. When that failed I went shopping for a replacement. My main camera is a D4, which uses CF and XQD cards, so I was looking for a card reader that accepted both of these cards. Unfortunately I was unable to find one. This Star Tech USB3.0 reader does CF cards and has a USB3.0 slot, so it seemed to be the best option, tho' I need to use an specific XQD card reader that plugs into the USB3.0 slot. So far it has been working fine, and is very fast compared to my old card reader.
