Great Coffee

A Colorful, Useful & Wonderful Weather Forecaster

I like the large the large color display that allows me to easily see my indoor/outdoor temperatures and humidity conditions. I also like having the extra display so I have 2 separate locations in my home to do so. Put the extra display in your bedroom and you can see what is going on outside and know how to dress before going out! The self setting Atomic Clock is nice... no blinking clock every time you get a power glitch or power outage, just resets itself, and the battery backup is great too. Temperature alerts are a neat feature also since you can set them to warn you if temperatures go above or below a certain point. The alerts can let you know to bring in a sensitive plant in before it freezes, or someone has messed with the thermostat inside the house. My units temperature reading is generally pretty close to my other temperature sensors - right now my La Crosse indoor and outdoor temperatures are within 1 degree of my calibrated Honeywell heat pump sensors. Pay attention to how and where you mount your outdoor sensor, watch the Youtube videos... I mounted mine where it is somewhat protected from rain, yet open to the environment. Interestingly enough the forecast section has been pretty accurate at showing the correct outdoor weather, sometimes more accurate than the local weather forecasts. ( At least for current conditions ) for instance right now there is a mix of clouds and blue skies with the sun shining and that is exactly what the display shows... the sun with a few clouds - see pictures! So far I have really not found any downsides to complain about. As far as quality and durability, so far so good and only time will tell. A colorful easy to see clock, calendar, indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity and more - all in one place all the time. Personally I love my little weather station and would highly recommend it.
