Will do the job
This bag is much thinner then the one I had,which was damaged. But this has a silver metallic lining which I assume is the insulation. My previous one was filled with a light weight foam, so gave the impression it was much 'fuller'. I haven't had cause to use this bag yet, but as it will only be used for a light lunch or cans I can't imagine it wont keep things cool for a while.

Although an old issue I found this book very informative and it has answered several questions I needed to know about my new slow cooker.
