NOT INSULATED.
I now have two tanks that are the same! Not good. My non-insulated tank developed a bad leak at the bottom where the plastic plug is located. I bought the insulated tank to help save the minnows. Did not work. Neither tank has a filter so, in my non-insulated tank, I connected a bilge pump hose to the pump, passed the hose through a hole in the side-top, then through a filter, and back into the tank through another hole in the side-top. Needless to say, I found out how thick the material is. I had to do the same piping to the insulated tank but found out it was not appear insulated. The material and construction looked the same in both.
Would I buy it again? Yes but only the cheap one and only if the manufacturer did a better fix on the bottom bilge pump mounting construction over all.
