Worth the extra few dollars to get the right product
2 of 2 found this helpful This AC switch is the exact same switch that I was replacing on my 2000 Toyota Tacoma. There are several cheaper aftermarket versions of this switch that ‘fit’ in my truck, but after reading the reviews of those, they are not a perfect fit, and the light is always on (even if the AC is turned off). Also, I read that the the trim around it needs to be filed down a bit to make fit, and several other issues I found in the reviews of those aftermarket versions. It was not easy to fine the EXACT replacement for my switch, but it was worth the extra few dollars to get the OEM switch. It fits perfectly and looks and operates exactly as it should.
