Rev A Shelf 2-Tier 12" Chrm Basket

Great, sturdy, easy to install unit at a good price.

This is a really sturdy two shelf storage unit. Easy to install with a magnetic Phillips screwdriver, drill, #2 Phillips bit, and tape measure. You don't need as magnetic screwdriver but it makes it so much easier. It's also helpful to have a small parts tray for the two dozen screws to keep them in one spot. You screw it to the cabinet frame opposite the hinged side so may end up with some narrow vertical storage if your cabinet is a little wider than the unit. My cabinet is 13.5" so we have room for some cookie sheets. Another important feature for our cabinets is that the U supports for the shelves attach to the front of the glides and about 10" back. This allows you to install in cabinets that have a middle shelf that extends about 12" from the back of the cabinet. The top roll out tier will clear that shelf even when attached in the lowest of the top three positions. You can also buy an optional kit to install the cabinet door to the front of the unit so the door is no longer hinged but pulls straight out with the bottom tier. This is an advantage when you have corner cabinets where the handles on the cabinet door or adjacent cabinet door prevent the hinged door from opening all the way. In a 12" cabinet this might prevent you from pulling the tiers out all the way, The optional kit solves that issue.
