Cheaper than bait
First time I’ve used these, caught around 8 cod in three hours trip. The tail came off the head because of the action towards the end, but at £4.50 a pop it was cheaper than buying bait. Very relaxing way to fish.

Honest review on this rod
I bought this rod for inshore boat fishing, I know it’s cheap but I expected it to last more than two trips, I’ve been boat fishing for over 40 years now both inshore and deep sea and I have never snapped a rod. I snagged the bottom with this set up and gave it a tug. The rod snapped in three pieces. May be that this one is defective but to be honest I wouldn’t recommend buying this. Luckily I fish from my own boat so had a spare rod onboard. You get what you pay for, take my advice.
