Been using them for well over 10 years.
Had a set the kids and I have used off and on for quite some time. We've used them for camping, hunting, vacations, and road trips. One of my original set quit sending the other day, so I snagged this set...now a working set of three.

Having read the book some years ago, I decided to share it with my wife. We like to listen to books on CD just before we retire for the evening. This book is well read, and makes you want to pull the covers close around you as you hear of the real life expedition in ice, snow, and water. This is another excellent piece of history worth absorbing. It causes me to appreciate the few unsubdued pieces of earth that are left. Quality book, quality reading, worth while! A+
