EMG's Best P/J set....
Well, my fave, anyway. I do have to get some soldering done for the J pickup because of a narrow rout tunnel on my ESP V4 bass. These are warmer, due to the alnico magnets, but with the same clarity, and they sound more toney to me relative to the ceramic magnet sets. I love them.

Bighead
This little unit sounds fantastic. It reproduces the sound of your bass as it is, with no coloration. (My Modulus Q5 sounds like a piano.) Small, light, and packed with a practical feature set, there is nothing on the market built with this level of quality and tone.

Klotz cables rock!
Excellent cable! Transparent sound, lays flat, and is solidly built. Less expensive than many upper end cables, also. Love it.
