Words prove true
Bought this for a laptop that has always seemed to run hot, an HP of course. Seems like most of the Compaq and HP laptops ran hot over the years I have been working and using them. I had replaced the thermal paste on this HP a couple times before and still the fan would run at a high rpm anyway just to stay cool enough. After I put this paste on and used the browser for a little while with no temp increase, I decided to put more of a load on it. Went from watching videos to playing games, and things didn't heat up enough to trigger full throttle on the fan. I think I found something that I might use for all my cpu and gpu cooling needs from now on.
