Much better than my old wireless one.
2 of 2 found this helpful The range of a standard Wireless doorbell is limited by walls and doors etc.,.
because they transmit a radio signal through the air and are blocked by walls and doors etc. ..
In my case even the longest range Wireless Transmitter, didn't make the trip to my back garden.
But because these through the mains door bell transmitters use the house wiring as an aerial they will operate wherever there is a 240volt plug socket. Even to a shed at the top of the garden, just as long as there is mains power available.
This one is a good quality unit and takes care of my missing people ringing my door bell perfectly !.

This is the first time that I have used one of these,
I found that 35mm bit that I used, to fit some kitchen cupboard hinges, to be very efficient and easy to use.
(Instead of using a normal high speed bit and having to mark and measure depths Etc.).
All in All the kit is definitely value for money.
