Impulse
After purchasing, I realized I saw it on TV years ago. Is 1990 really "years ago" already? Always liked Theresa Russel, and wonder what became of her. Natural beauty, beautiful hair. A believable story ending with a nice redemption of the character. Always enjoy Jeff Fahey.

The Last of the Finest
I simply like stories wherein the good guys go to all lengths (including quitting their jobs, as in this movie) to do the right thing overall. Have always liked Joe Pantoliano and Brian Dennehy. A young looking, skinny Jeff Fahey. Worth watching, more than once.

The Lawnmower Man, plus deleted scenes
One of Jeff Fahey's very best. He pulls a Meryl Streep by disappearing into Jobe Smith. The only kind of acting worthwhile, as far as I am concerned. Pre-evil Jobe was a dear to me. Pure innocence with no secret agenda or malice. Even with malice later, he only harmed the evil ones. One of the deleted scenes never should have left the movie. I was just about the best part! The SciFi people will say that the effects are not up to par. They were quite par at the time it was made. In addition to the Sci-Fi, it is also a story of innocence mistreated, then destroyed, and in the wisdom of the world that we accept, innocence learns the negative and embraces power. Maybe not so far fetched after being "born stupid" and living under its weight for years. Guess I will always love this movie. I just love Jobe.
