Zyltech 12V 30A power supply - Thumbs Up!
I ordered this to replace a failing 12V 16A power supply that came with my 3d printer. Its mounting holes are slightly different, but drilling new mounting holes in the mounting bracket was not difficult. Its internal fan appears to work well - it only comes on when the insides get hot, so it's quiet at low loads.
Be aware that this power supply is intended to be enclosed inside some protective enclosure so people can't get their fingers on the exposed AC line terminals. This is no different from similar power supplies, and the snap-down plastic cover on this power supply helps with this, but user caution is still needed in setting up the AC power.
The construction is similar to other units, but the metal enclosure is sturdy and the mounting for the internal PCB is workmanlike. I've dealt with electronics all my adult life, and this unit is of good, industrial quality construction.
The bottom line is - it just works. Power supplies ought to be something you can forget about once they are properly set up, and this one qualifies. That's high praise for a power supply!
