It does the job, but don't expect a replacement for a hearing aid.
1 of 1 found this helpful It works as described and does what it should. Two misgivings: its bulky and awkward to use, but I didn't count that against it since it is obvious from the photo and description. My only real complaint is that the balance control, from left to right ear, does little.
Other than that, the person using it suffers from severe hearing loss can can have a normal conversation. They can hear every word without straining. But note, the is no ongoing background noise when having the conversation so the distractions are kept to a minimum. They also commented that they would not use it for extended periods of time as they felt a bit of sensory overload.
Other than that, it does what it is supposed to.
