Simple & Fast with W10 Pro
Same computer as in use on professional desks across the country including the hospital I have just attended. This is the most powerful version of that generation (now superseded) but lots on market due to rollout of new versions. W10 Pro is part of the attraction to avoid having to spend half your life updating at inconvenient times.
Fast enough for me - but make sure you get one with SSD, or clone onto one. (Easy to fit).
I cloned onto a 250Gb one.
I did also fit a slim ASUS PCI Graphics card as well, but not needed if you are not gaming.
It had a scratch on the tin. Not bothered.

Fixed the problem, but one o-ring would have done the job.
In a sense, I recommend it only because there is no other choice for a shower model which is old, even though structurally no different to new models. The fault was the flow controller would not shut off completely. The known solution is to replace at most 2 tiny neoprene O rings out of a whole pack of little bits and pieces. I broke one and ended up buying another £23 for a second pack just for the one 10mm diameter washer that was actually too worn.
Also the tube of grease included isn't really enough and very nasty to handle. I ended up using ordinary silicon grease.

Cheap and easy
Good at price
