Plastic but looks like aluminum, take care tightening the bolts.

Only attaches with 2 allen bolts. Looks tough on the wheel and hides the hub completely. I would recommend putting loc-tite on the bolt threads and only tighten them snug. Wiggle the cap so it's not binding, snug down the bolts again. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN as the bolts can break the plastic. It does seem to be overpriced but way better looking than the cheaper options.
