Worth the price
II was not aware of the MTH brand until I decided to pick up my love of model trains from childhood and came across MTH in various on line shops. After I bought my first diesel, I was very impressed. These engines are real bruisers; beautifully detailed and well built, and in particular I like the sounds, even with engineer speech. They will tackle my steep grades with full load. They have every function available. I am looking to buy steam MTH. Another thing I liked is that their minimum radius is 18 inches, and I noticed this even applies to their articulated steam engines.

Unable to use
A beautiful locomotive but incompatible with my dcc system so I was unable to use it or make any other comments. I caution anyone buying an MTH product on compatibility with your d cc system, since it is one of two locomotives I had to return.
