Great little wifi adapter
1 of 1 found this helpful I've had an Alfa AWUSO36NH for a few years now and loved it, but I wanted another one (just for basic connectivity) and after doing some research I decided to get a different model just to see if I'd notice any improvements in operation.
Installation was easy and comparable to the NH, though it has a different chipset and so uses a different configuration program. So far the AWUS036NHV seems to see as many SSIDs as the NH and connects more or less just as well using the stock antenna. I ended up putting the larger antenna on my NH and it provided a small increase in signal strength. The magnetic base plate sticks to my computer case well, but using the antenna through it does reduce the link quality a little so unless I'm in a situation where I can't place the antenna in an optimal location I just plug the antenna directly into the adapter. Still nice to have and overall this kit is a good value!

Great way to restore function to an old player!
1 of 1 found this helpful The BPX-7 drive in a used bdp-s3100 I bought didn't seem to work anymore, but swapping it out with this BXP-10 was easy. Only thing to note is that the thickest ribbon cable is longer on the older drive, but opening them up to release/install the cables isn't difficult either. The factory BDs that weren't detected before played immediately when I powered up the player with the new drive installed! We'll see how long this one lasts, but since the old said it was manufactured in 2008, I'll be very happy if I get that much life out of this one for only $10. I'm glad these OEM drives are available and easy to swap out, because then the rest of the player doesn't have to go straight to a landfill, and now I can have some confidence in having a brand new drive in my used BD player too.

No brainer part of any anime collection
Wanted to own a hardcopy of one of the most iconic animes ever made and see it again in a decently high resolution, and I was not disappointed!
