if it aint broke dont fix it

they were over engineered. too much rubber. hard to fit in the hole. a square hole . not a round one like the big lump of rubber round the lead. very hard to fit. could not see or feel if they were actually connected. also would trap the heat from the engine. not a good idea. cut the rubber lump off with box cutter and garden secateurs. not pretty but they work great. easier to fit than the original
