NEW Homedics LED vanity mirror

Poor Light Output

The whole purpose of this mirror is to project enough light onto your face to be able to easily see your face. It fails miserably at doing this. The LED lights are so dim they barely have enough illumination to reflect off your face. The mirror itself is fine, but you'll have to angle the mirror so that its reflecting another light source in the room to make it usable. Would not recommend.

Great spread of light, not so good as a spot light.

Don't get me wrong, the light and the harness and the bracket seem to be of very good quality and well made.The reason I'm not giving this product more stars is that it doesn't project a "Spot" very far down the road at al. In fact you can't even see it with my normal highbeam lights on. What it does do very well is "Compliment" the cars exhisting lights and the overall effect is great with a much much better spread of light across the road for about 100m, after that your main high beam takes over. My recommendation, if you're after more distance, is to get a lightbar with a much narrower spot focus, say no more than 10deg.
