Well presented but with one bad flaw
The plane comes in an attractive wooden box. It is easy to adjust, and cut well out of the box. However, the box cover and description said it had a spur to cut the fibres when planing across the grain. There was a screw where the spur should have been, but no spur was included. Not only that, but the plane had no recess milled to take a spur. I had to grind a recess similar to that on my combination plane, and buy a spare spur separately. Based on this, I have to say the plane is not fit for purpose as sold.The manufacturer needs to rectify this; it would then be a good plane.
