Great sculpt - prep work required
This sculpt is an interesting fusion of traditional and futuristic themes. She’s wearing a jumpsuit and Judge Dredd boots and straps, yet the accoutrements are pure D&D. Also worth noting - she has a long braid of hair down her back with a set of keys tied to the end that you cannot see in the photo.
It’s a two-part mini with the right arm and spear/staff being separate from the main body. The fixing point is not well defined and I had some issues shaping a stable connection. Additionally, there were several casting artefacts - little metal carbuncles - that had to be removed and repaired. You will need to have some skill with a blade and fine-grade files to bring this mini to an acceptable state before priming.
A bit of a pain, but worth it because she is full of character snd fun to paint.

Tiamat Orange from Scale F&G range
An excellent paint. Deeply pigmented, which means it can be thinned to a remarkable degree without flocculating. Produces an opaque, durable, matt-satin finish.
