Tram quality
I have not yet installed the antenna. Tram always was a good name in radio equipment years ago.
I was pleased when I saw the antenna. Excellent quality.

Plug & Play, well....sort of.
So I got a Yaesu model that wasn't listed and dang..ended up with the wrong one. Gigaparts/Ebay replaced but I had to pay shipping back. Ensure you order correct model with the right cable!!!
Why is it that plug & play items need a 40 page downloaded manual that is not clear to understand on some issues?? MFJ is working on it. Nor is the item without a few hiccups,...BUT: here's the good news:
90% of the time it works as described. And that's a tall order.
I have a 250 foot end fed wire way up in the trees with some very poor SWR on some bands and this little box takes care of it. Where the wire is reasonably resonant, it takes SWR down to perfect match.
And band portions where it is very high, it brings it comfortably within range and does remember it.
Overall , VERY pleased. And yes its fast, often taking less than a second to tune. Now making amazing contacts where before I didn't want to key the mike.
