Excellent idea. Quality construction, well thought out. I've already had one of these and found it very useful on my motorcycles. I may have only "temporarily misplaced" rather than "permanently lost" the other one, but either way I'm glad to have it back! I may add a dab of glue to keep it connected to the Tom-Tom 550.

Grip all the way....
Having tried Bridgestone Battlax I needed a replacement. The Tyre Dealer commented that Avon Roadriders were old tech, Pirelli would be ripped through in no time, Bridgestone would make for longer wear, but that Metzeler Lasertec are the standard fitment on Moto Guzzi California Special. It being a Bias Ply tyre, and a rare size on the rear, that's where the choice ends for matched pairs.!!
Where the previous Bridgestone squirmed on repaired Tarmac and cracks on the Motorway, the Metzelers run true, go where they're pointed, and promote a feeling of confidence and joy in motorcycling.
I wasn't happy with getting only just over 5,300 miles from the rear 140/80 VB 17 but I think there was a slight leak from the valve. I've invested in a Digital Tyre Pressure Guage and hope to report a better mileage next time...
