Prepare for problems
Purchased the Wemo to turn on a pool pump heater remotely. Setup was simple enough and I left if next to the wifi repeater for a month to see how it goes. All fine but when I moved it to the pool area the plan began to crumble.
Either the Wemo has the worst wifi range in the world or I have a faulty device. My phone has full wifi bars and only 15m from the wifi repeater but routinely has 'not detected' on the app.
Somedays it works but most days it doesn't. Very unreliable and disappointing :(
