I bought this mostly because of the prom...
I bought this mostly because of the promise of improved performance leading to up 15 percent gains in mpg.
Having installed it, once I had checked that it was simply plug and play with the very helpful people at Blue Spark, I took my Freelander2 sd4 for a quick test drive . The improvement in performance was apparent immediately; faster pick up when I touched the throttle and what felt like much smoother gear changes. An altogether more pleasant drive.
But, having driven just over 300 miles over the last couple of days, what I haven t noticed is any increase in mpg.
Hence the docing of the last star.
