Worth the money.
1 of 1 found this helpful I am playing with this now, to teach myself how to use the Arduino. It comes with a knock-off Arduino that is not quite like a real one (for instance, it doesn't have the reset button) but it is doing the job and saves $32 or whatever Arduino R3s are costing these days.
It has been a bit of a hassle getting the documentation, that is emailed to you if you request it after buying the item. It comers as a zip file, that, when I click on it, becomes surrounded by a lot of Korean writing. I think if I just go at it with WINZip it'll unzip properly (hopefully it's not in Korean).
The kit comes with some itty-bitty resistors that I can't make out the value of even with a 10X magnifying glass. If your eyes are better than mine they shouldn't be a hindrance. Otherwise you're face with getting an assortment from someplace like Jameco.
It has a lot of ICs, some of which I have not been able to identify without the documentation. In addition to the ICs it has a two-line display, a mini-joystick, a potentiometer, lots of LEDs, and other such useful bits, good for hanging on the Arduino to learn how to use it.
Overall I am pleased and believe the assortment is worth the money.

Very amusing
I love steampunkish art and this fills that description.

Holds the fob together and protects it.
This "cover" saved me $700 because I didn't have to replace my Jaguar key when it fell apart. I put "cover" in quotes because it is really a rubber case that surrounds the key except for the face, so the buttons are still accessible. The rubber holds the fob together beautifully without adding much bulk. The little U-shaped key chain is cute and fits through the tiny hole in the fob. It's not really necessary but I am using it anyway. I got two, one for the broken fob and one for the fob that is not yet broken but definitely would break someday if it isn't held together like this.
