3 of 3 found this helpful All you need is an Amazon account and then set up the WiFi and away you go. You have to find the apps in the apps section but these should have been installed prior. Once you have opened these once these will appear in your recent apps list which makes it easier to use next time.
When shutting down always go to the top menu using the back button and exit the apps properly. Usually there is a delay before you get back to the amazon home page. From there i always put the stick into sleep mode by holding down the home button.
