To wide for a square loaf

It is beautifully made, but it is too wide for an ordinary square loaf of bread, even a large one. A standard bread knife blade is 20 cm. The internal space across the cutting guide is 18 cm. You can sit the knife across, but as soon as you start to cut, the far end slips out of the cutting guide. A 26 cm cutting blade is required to use it, and they are very expensive and difficult to find. If the guide was 4 cm narrower, I would be giving it 10 stars plus.
