Stunning sound and great features.
This is a fantastic machine for playing your Hi-MD or ordinary Minidiscs. The sound is fantastic. Listen to CDs ripped at 256kbps and it sounds great - and I'm listening through top-end Shure headphones. I haven't tried the camera as I don't need it. But the display is also great and allows you to search quickly through the CD covers. This isn't, however, a recording device - except through the USB input. If you need a versatile digital recorder, get the more recent MZ-RH1, which also sounds excellent and allows recording from a mic or any type of input. The MZ-DH10P, though, is so good for playback that it deserves a 5 star rating.

Excellent little MD player
Great sound. Easy to use. Great functions. If you need a slightly more versatile MD recorder go for the MZ-NH700. It's the same as the MZ-NH600 but with more recording inputs. For playback this machine is excellent. I bought it as I have a large collection of Hi-MD discs already and wanted a player that takes ordinary batteries - for longer journeys without access to a recharger or a computer. This fits the bill perfectly. It's a shame Sony have almost stopped doing Minidisc. But with older models like this popping up on ebay, there's still time to get into them.
