The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle ,2001, Unabridged, CD
2 of 2 found this helpful If you love the book, the CD will just make the experience that much better. "The Power Of Now", unabridged, on CD, and read by Eckhart Tolle, is an experience not to be missed. In a very calm and measured way, with a deep spiritual and reverent tone, Eckhart Tolle takes us word by word through his masterpiece. "The Power Of Now" is, in my opinion, one of the most important pieces of sprirtual writing of the 20th century, and of all time. Hearing it read by the author is powerful and meaningful. My only wish, and I am not being critical, is that it wasn't quite so dry. As compared to his other recorded work, this reading is missing his spontaneous humor, and his delightful laugh. Eckhart Tolle is deeply connected to life, and fully present. This is a great teaching, read by a great teacher.

Not As Big As You Think
1 of 1 found this helpful In reading reviews of this watch, I was slightly intimidated by the supposed HUGE size. It is big, don't get me wrong. Many said you should be an experienced G-Shock user to appreciate this... as it is the BIGGEST G-Shock other than the Gravitymaster... I think. Anyway, I was worried. I am no longer worried, in fact I am thrilled. First of all, it is very light. My big divers are much heavier than this. And the face is not too big at all... I think maybe 35 to 40 mm... so it's the housing that's big... but the reasonable face makes it seem smaller and the weight makes it very tolerable. Size was my first and biggest concern.
This is a nice watch. I love it. I wish I would have bought it way sooner now, as I was on the fence for a while. I love the functions... the compass works really well. I did read some reviewers who didn't like the compass, but of course they were probably trying to use it for navigation around the globe in their one man sailboat... for us regular guys who need to know where North is... this watch functions perfectly... Everything works. It's solar... who doesn't like that? It's atomic, so the time is always spot on. Again what's not to like? It is vibration resistant... so you can actually use it for working, and it has a sapphire crystal... again... just a quality time piece.
This ain't your grandpa's Casio. This is a real watch, for real men... and even guys like me... :)

Not for the squeamish...
This has quickly become my favorite wallet, except for one thing: the necessity to keep my phone "naked". I have a glass screen protector on it, but no other case. And in case you don't know this, iPhone's are slippery little buggers. So if you are the nervous type, or hate replacing broken screens, or dented cases, AND are prone to dropping your phone... then this case isn't for you.
On the other hand, if you aren't that type, then this is HANDS DOWN the nicest phone wallet I have ever handled, used or owned. It holds all my cards and cash, easily. The leather is thick full grain leather, well tanned. The stitching is tight and flawless. And the design is different, well thought out... Of course, as I stated earlier, that slippery phone sits snugly in it's little spot... easy to grab and use, but nude, except for a screen protector, so don't drop it, or don't blame the case because you do!
Bottom line: worth every penny. IMHO YMMV
