I am a former product design engineer for companies including Polaroid, Apple, and Seiko. I authored two books about design, From Concept to Consumer and To Feel the Music (co-authored with Neil Young) and wrote a tech column for a business newspaper in San Diego. An excellent product
A very well made product that works as advertised. I am able to get the temperature up to the same 700 degrees as with the daisy wheel. It's easier to adjust and stays at its setting when lifting the lid, unlike the daisy wheel. I have yet to try low temperatures, but it appears to be easier to adjust and to find a setting for smoking.
