I'd rather squat or hover
2 of 6 found this helpful Okay...so I bought this thing as chaperoning a 5000 mile trip on a bus full of teenagers is in my future. First of all, don't wait until your bladder is full to use this device, it will overflow. Secondly, the tube it comes in is very small and it is a hard to roll up what amounts to a fancy funnel back into it. Third, My expectation was to avoid as many germs as possible at our tour of monuments by using this device. So, I will need to wash it after each use...do you want to be using the sink next to someone washing their pee funnel? Then you have to dry it complete or it will get moldy and nasty in the little sleeve. Fourth, you can't just kind of stick it into the front of your jeans and have at. For proper fit, you need to still pull your pants down...not very discreet. Finally, It is noticeably louder to pee standing up. It is weird in a public bathroom to be the loud pee-er.
I'm a Northern girl...I knew how to squat outside before I was fully potty trained. I also spent a couple summers in college following a band, so I know how to hover. This device really can't do anything for me other than be a novel option that has the potential of being much less sanitary. I will say it is well made, but you can't really screw up silicone from a mold, now can you?
