Good Single Stage Press
1 of 1 found this helpful The press is solid and well made. The scale is adequate, the powder measure is adequate, the hand primer had a quality problem and would small pistol primers would not feed most of the time and sometimes would stop the primer partially over the ram (not good if not noticed). RCBS customer service was great and replaced two parts that solved the problem. I would make the same purchase again, but be cautious with the hand primer if using small primers. That little plastic part that the primers pass through may not align with the end of the ram. If that happens, call customer service and in a few days you will have the replacement parts. It would be nice if the powder measure had a baffle in the plastic container and maybe a stand to hold the powder measure could be added to the kit.

Very good for capturing special family events and travels - or for playback
My rating in regard to picture quality is relative to what is available today for $200-$300. The quality for the era when this was new was very good. Ease of use was great. Battery life was pretty good, but I carried a spare battery to ensure I did not run out of power on an all day outing. Value for the money was also very good when new. At least on review on eBay is in regard to something recently purchased and really has nothing to do with the actual item when in Normal operating condition. These are relatively fragile and includes mechanisms that may sometimes need repair. I don't recommend this except for those that have 8mm cassettes that they want to play, or that want to record on 8mm tapes for some reason. If you have those needs, this is a relatively inexpensive way to go since they can be bought for about 5% of the original price.

Excellent guitar strap for the cost
I was unnecessarily cautious about purchasing this. The cost through Guitar Works makes this one of the best values I've found in a long time. The weave is attractive. Looks great with my Siena Sunburst Strat or my natural top acoustic. I'm 6'-1" and this strap is long enough to use the two leather ends on my Strat, or I can use the lace at the head end on the acoustic. The material feels soft and does not dig into the shoulder along the edges. The leather ends appear plenty stiff enough to support a reasonable weight guitar. The adjustment of length is easily done. The only thing that MAY be something to be cautious about is the connection of the woven material to the two leather ends. One end is sewn across two times and appears to be well done. The other end is connected by a plastic loop that allows adjustment of length and looks plenty strong. However, I will watch these just as a precaution and as a good practice to made sure everything stays in good condition. I am NOT expecting failure there, but just being cautious. Don't let my caution prevent you from getting one of these. The button holes fit perfectly onto the buttons on my Strat. Buy one of these if you want a nice looking strap at a bargain price.
