Works great so far! Same bulb as the original when I bought the TV back in 2009.
It's only been in use a couple of weeks now, but so far so good!! Very bright, and a huge difference from my old dying bulb, even though it's the exact same model. Removing the housing and replacing the old bulb with the new one wasn't very difficult. I followed an instructional video on YouTube. Just be careful not to touch the new bulb with your bare skin, and take pictures as you go so you can remember where parts go. A plastic glove was supplied in the box I received, so that was a nice unexpected touch!
I keep my TV pretty clean and free of dust, so the original bulb that came with the TV lasted about 10 years. I'm hoping I can get the same lifespan out of this one, but even if I only get 3-5 years, I'll still be happy :-)

Great Memories, but picture/sound quality could be better
3 of 3 found this helpful While it's great to at least be able to relive some childhood memories and watch "Inspector Gadget" again on DVD, the video quality is not great. What you're getting is essentially VHS quality, and no remastering appears to have been done. That said, kids don't usually notice or care about picture or sound quality, so being able to share this series with my son is what's important. After all, I originally watched this series when I was 8 years old on a 13" black and white TV, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
