exactly what it should be/do it is/does.
for a cheap unit, its pretty good. It lights up well enough, and it comes on automatically when it gets dark. They are small, but to light a walkway, just perfect.
I just wanted it to be a topper for a pole I had in the ground that held up some motion sensors, and everybody loves the "lamppost" LOL. a $3 piece of PVC pipe and this lamp and I have a $130 lamp post. see the pictue.

great little projector more than capable for a 10' diameter
movie night is a treat with is unit. works seamlessly as a second monitor on my laptop. we use vlc to play dvd's, youtube, netflix, or whatever. We are using the VGA port in the back and the quality as it projects onto the wall of our house makes us totally feel we are in a movie theater (we run sound through the stereo system not the onboard speakers.) I mounted this unit on the ceiling and routed the cables through the attic, I have not tried any of the wireless features, usb, or hdmi. my only disappointments with this unit are" 1) there is no way to adjust the zoom other than moving the unit forward and back: that is not good with a ceiling mount but not too big a deal, I just had to be exact about the mounting location. 2) It goes out of focus to easy. as this unit is expected to be portable, I guess the tightness threads of the unit were not considered to be important as they would always need to be adjusted, but as I ceiling mounted it I was hoping that the focus would be set it and forget it. Is seems with people walking around the house, the focus drifts. I'm thinking of getting the focus right, and then laying a piece of duct tape on the knob might do the trick, well see. Both of these cons are minor though. for a $350 unit I'm pretty impressed.
