5x Hand-rollered Lucky 220 Roll Film ISO 200 Black & White B&W Negative 11-2021
12 February 2019
Movie film stock
I ordered a 5 roll pack of this film and was surprised how quickly it came from China. I shot the first roll with little expectation but was pleasantly surprised when I developed the roll, the first thing I realised when I was loading it on the reel is that it's cut down 70mm double perf. Film stock with one side perforations in tact so if your loading this on a Patterson style reel it may give you some trouble. If you've never handled 220 film or movie film stock you'll be amazed at how thin it is which makes handling it a delicate endeavor. Having said all that I will tell you it's an excellent film, I developed it in D-76 @ 68f and got good results, a bit flat for my taste especially for darkroom printing but great for scanning. It should be noted that movie stock can be developed in standard B&W chems but are designed to be processed on high heat (95f) processors at a high rate of speed. I'm sure that even better results will be obtained with HC-110 or Rodinal. One final note, the film leader is a cut down piece of Lomography 120 film backing paper. Alignment is not exact and the film too long on my rolls leaving my mamiya 6 unable to completely spool the entire tail paper on but has not caused any light leaks thus far. All in all its a good deal on a rarity, I would use this on a paid gig if I wanted the look this film gives, a long scale, flat look that dries very flat, scans well and prints well with a little added contrast. Buy it, try it....keep shooting

Jagwire Pro Brake Cable Kit Mountain SRAM/Shimano, SID Blue
19 February 2020
High quality components
Cable braid is tight and flat and is extremely slick, cable housing is very pliable laterally but doesn't compress. The installation components are well made of cast aluminum and anodized black, the "POP" caliper end ferrules are what really set this cable set apart from others in this price range. The rigid termination of the cable into the caliper gives these cables excellent feel in the hand when braking precisely. There are two silicone type sleeves that are provided to protect the frame from cable rubbing wich is something I haven't seen other manufacturers provide. All in all worth the money and looks to provide a long service life.
