Noise free power for audio equipment
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this to replace the switching power supply which came with Pro-Ject Seed Box. It is used to switch between 33 1/3 and 45rpm on Pro-Ject turntables and it keeps the turntable at a very constant speed. My speed variance is ~0.1% with Debut III which has 0.8% speed variance according to the manufacturer. The original power supply caused very audible noise throughout the audio spectrum. Think electrical buzz and you'll get the idea. With this linear power supply the noise is gone, unsurprisingly. The voltage reading on the number display seems to be spot on according to my multimeter.
